Understanding The Book of Ruth and Why It's Important For You
Out of all the books in the Bible, the Book of Ruth provides one of the most compelling pictures of the journey of the believer from infancy to maturity. It is a love story — not only about Ruth and Boaz, but about God and us. This 12-week course is designed to teach students about the Book of Ruth biblically, historically, and most importantly, practically. By the end of these twelve weeks, students will understand the historical significance of this ancient text and why it remains urgently relevant to their lives today. The four chapters of Ruth map perfectly onto four stages of spiritual development: Foundation (New Birth), Development (Spirit-filled Growth), Maturity (Consecration and Union), and Purpose (Destiny and Fruitfulness).
